The final weekend of the 51st Marunada, Kvarner's famous chestnut festival, moves up to the hill village of Liganj above Lovran. Saturday brings a mountain hike, an ethnographic exhibition and evening concerts, while Sunday offers a free guided walk along the marun chestnut trail - a classic autumn outing on the Opatija Riviera.
